By deselecting the certificate validation check in the settings for the Android phone, you are essentially bypassing the problem in lue of less security. Due to the mismatch of names, the Android phone will error and cause a connection failure. Select OK again to save all your settingsīe aware that anything you send or receive on your Android phone IS NOT SECURE! That means your password and everything you send is in clear text and can be intercepted by “the bad guys.” This is because the certificate naming conflict with your mail account and your domain do not match.Port: 25 (this can also be found in your webmail login under Settings then Email Accounts).UNCHECK “Use secure connection” and “Verify Certificate”.Select your Yahoo or Hotmail/Outlook account.
